The lodges were a bit dated, and some areas could have been cleaned better. Despite this, it didn't bother us much and did not detract from our overall experience.

Great views, lovely pub food, helpful staff, excellent location for Alton Towers. Kids loved the climbing frame and bouncy castle, beautiful surroundings, comfortable bed, spacious and warm cabins, family-friendly restaurant/bar.
